Power shutdown in parts of Kohima

Power department has informed that there would be power shutdown in parts of Kohima district on March 29 & 30, 2023 from 9am to 5pm as the department would be carrying out vegetation clearance along 33KV Kohima Ringmain-2 & 11KV Jakhama Civil feeder under Kohima electrical division.
In a press release, electrical division Kohima executive engineer Shiludi Lkr informed that shutdown was being necessitated to avoid disruption of power supply due to vegetation. The department has requested all affected consumers to cooperate and bear with the inconvenience.
