Pran Pratishtha observed in Kohima

Commemorating the consecration of the Ram Jamnabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, Nagaland governor La Ganesan visited the Hindu Mandir at PWD Kohima on January 22. In a press release PRO Raj Bhavan informed that during the visit, the governor offered puja and attended the Live-telecast of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.


Marking the auspicious day, devotees from all walks of life and all ages gathered together to witness the consecration of the Ram Temple ceremony and also performed Vedic rituals in seeking the blessing of Lord Ram. Governor was accompanied by Commissioner and Secretary for Youth Resources & Sports, who is also holding additional charge of secretary to Governor Wezope Kenye, joint secretary to Governor Mhomo Tungoe and others officials.


Gorkha Singhadevi Mandir Kohima: On the historic occasion of the consecration of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, the Gorkha Singhadevi Mandir Committee Chandmari under the aegis of Gorkha Public Panchayat Kohima (GPPK) and its frontal organisations held special programme on Monday.


The occasion was marked with live screening of programme at the Multi-Utility Hall of GPPK with the presence of IGP Khalate Vikram Mukundrao; principal director School Education, Thavaseelan K., SP Kohima Bharat Laxman and Durga Mandir Samity president Sudipta Kumar Dey.


Later, minister for Tourism and Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along also joined the live screening programme.
The formal programme was chaired by GPPK president Santu Thapa while Gorkha Singhadevi Mandir Committee Milan Sunam tendered the vote of thanks.
