Resume DIET building: ANSTA Peren

Expressing dismay over the “incomplete, neglected” DIET building in Peren district, All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) Peren unit has demanded that the responsible authority start work from August 2022 and complete the work by December 2022.
In a press release, unit president Kaibakam Pamai and GS Haidun stated that during their visit to the site, only a quarter of the work was done, which they said, showed that the concerned authority instead of monitoring progress of the construction works was “too fishy”. ANSTA Peren unit said the authority was aware that teachers had to go for teachers’ training to other districts for some years and had to face untold hardships. Further, it warned that it would take up steps of any agitation or legal approach if their voice was not heeded to.
