Rio campaigns for R. Khing

NDPP chief star campaigner, Neiphiu Rio on Friday addressed a public rally for NDPP candidate, R. Khing for 12 Tseminyu A/C at Tseminyu.
Addressing the rally, Rio recalled on the formation of Tseminyu district in 2013 for development and progress.
He urged the Rengmas to maintain unity and take their district towards development not only through the elected members but with the contribution of all the citizens.
Highlighting the constitution of NDPP, Rio said the regional party was aimed and focused in preserving the Naga identity, custom and to protect the rich heritage of the people.
He said India was aware of the rich Naga history and for which the state has been given special provision under Article 371 (A) which gives protection to Naga customary laws and traditions.
On the 2023 assembly polls, Rio stated that the BJP and NDPP had been in alliance and therefore urged the people to think thoroughly while choosing their representative as “several parties will appeared like birds migrating during the season and disappear once elections will be over”.
Releasing the manifesto, NDPP candidate, R Khing shared his visions for development for his constituency.
Star campaigner, NDPP, Benjamin Lorin, and working president, NDPP Tseminyu Region, Issac Apon also delivered speeches.
