RSU informs on ‘non-local verification drive’

Rengma Students’ Union (RSU) will be conducting “non-local verification drive” from October 27, 9 am onwards, to check “influx of illegal immigrants”, under Tseminyu district.
In a press release, RSU president Ajo Tsela and general secretary Wakhanlo Semy informed all non-locals residing under Tseminyu district to come in person to the RSU office Tseminyu, with valid necessary documents—copy of Aadhaar card, voter ID, PAN card, driving license or any other IDs, issued by the government. RSU has asked non-locals to produce two recent passport sized photos.
Government job holders and school teachers have been exempted from the said registration.
In this regard, all range students’ presidents have been requested to disseminate the information to non-locals residing in their respective areas.
