A two-day training on “linking of farmers to market for sustainable livelihood” was organised by State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI) for ATMA functionaries on March 16-17 at SAMETI Medziphema.
The training was aimed to strengthen the marketing system to benefit the farming community and also to upgrade their skills.
The trainees were taught on linking farmers to market, direct marketing of horticultural produce, supply chain and logistics management by Nagaland State Agriculture Marketing Board NER Agri Expo Site, Dimapur CEO, G. Ikuto Zhimomi and CIH, Medziphema, marketing specialist, Prabin Das.
