Save store-Factory direct was inaugurated here on Friday, at Tajen Ao road, Duncan Dimapur.
Inaugurating the store, Commissioner of Police, Kevitutho Sophie spoke on the issue of unemployment and stated that “White collar job” alone is not employment, employment includes working in private and other enterprises as well.
On the menace of extortion, Kevitutho lamented that the state has to do away with the social evil.
He also pointed out that Right to Information (RTI) has become one of the biggest blackmailing tools in Nagaland.
As far as law is concern, he requested and appealed the citizen to extend their help and support by providing timely information.
Business Association of Nagaland (BAN) president Mongkum Jamir said that Nagaland is one of the most business-friendly state in the country, maintaining that the state has about 95% of people coming from outside and comfortably carrying out their businesses. Although everyone is welcome to do best in the state, they should run their business ethically, he added.
And as far as fledgling businesses are concern, they should learn from others and also remember that one should try to deliver best products and services within the competitive prices.
Proprietor of store, Perong Jamir mentioned that it took him almost two decades to come up with the store researching about the rates of the market which as per the state’s economy was comparatively high.
He mentioned that the motive of the store was to provide good quality products at reasonable price.
He also looks forward in coming up with more such stores covering all nook and corner of the state.
The store has over five thousand items which includes Women’s wear, Men’s wear, groceries, stationaries, footwear, home appliances etc.
