As of part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), State Bank of India, Mon branch conducted a one-day camp to raise awareness on menstrual hygiene management for the students of two GHSS Mon and GHSS Mon Town D on April 24.
Deputy manager SBI Mon, Khooshboo Rai initiated the programme and highlighted various CSR activities of the SBI.
The in-depth information about maintaining health & hygiene during menstruation was given by Kezevinuo Thepa, staff nurse and resource person of the camp.
Meanwhile, the principals of the respective schools thanked State Bank of India Mon Branch for undertaking relevant CSR initiative and sensitising the students on sensitive topic.
The program concluded with the distribution of sanitary napkins to over 700 girl students of both the schools.
