SBI opens foreign exchange facility at Naga Heritage Village

State Bank of India (SBI) Kohima branch has opened Foreign Currency (FC) exchange facility at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama for the convenience of foreigners visiting the Hornbill Festival.
In a press release, SBI (Kohima branch), Assistant General Manager, S. Besii Bosco informed that the Exchange facility of the following currencies are available- USD (US dollar) , EUR (Euro), GBP (Great Britain Pound/ British Pound Sterling), JPY (Japanese Yen), AUD (Australian Dollar), CAD (Canadian Dollar), SGD (Singapore Dollar) and AED (Emirati Dirham). He also informed that the documents required for FC exchange are Passport, arrival stamp which should not be earlier than 3 months and preferably a copy of VISA.
The exchange facility is opened from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. located opposite to Chapel. Foreign currency exchanged so far on the 1st and 2nd day of the event is as follows: USD 2720, EUR 555 and GBP 300. The FC exchange (buying) rate on 2nd December 2022 in Indian Rupee was USD 79.3, EUR 82.75, GBP 96.45, JPY 56.35, AUD 52.1, CAD 56.6, SGD 56.3 and AED 20.85.
