Screenplay writing training concludes

The 10-day screenplay play writing training conducted by the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) in collaboration with the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) concluded at the Directorate of Information & Public Relations, Kohima on November 25.
According to a DIPR report, resource person, Prof. Sudipto Acharyya spoke at the valedictory programme. He expressed his happiness at the progress made by the trainees. He stated that he kept pushing them to the limit but they kept trying and got better. He hoped that the trainees will continue to work on their ideas and turn it into films in the future. One of the trainees stated that she learnt many new things through the training and hopes to use the knowledge in her everyday life. She expressed hope that more young people would take up trainings offered by FTII and DIPR. Joint Director, IPR, Asangla Imsong in her remark thanked the FTII for coming up with training under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. She also extended her appreciation to the resource person, Sudipto Acharyya and all the trainees for making the training a success and stated that it was a great privilege for the trainees to be able to attend such a training conducted by FTII.
She added that FTII in collaboration with IPR will be conducting more trainings in the days to come.
