As part of its Civic Action Programme (CAP), security forces have been organising various programmes and extending assistance to local populace across the state.
111 Bn BSF: 111 battalion Border Security Force (BSF) Satakha Nagaland carried out CAP on March 15 at its battalion headquarters, Satakha and distributed water storage tanks, sports items and other items to different villages and schools. The battalion also carried out programmes like excursions, career counselling, camps, and trainings on different occasions for the masses.
173 Bn CRPF: 173 battalion Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) on March 17 organised CAP at its transit camp, Industrial Village, Razhuphe Dimapur with Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Sachin Jaiswal as the chief guest and deputy commissioner of police Dimapur, Vesupra Kezo as the guest of honour. During the programme, the battalion distributed water storage tanks and sports items to various schools. Earlier, on March 16, the battalion organised CAP at its Unit Headquarters, Airfield Dimapur and distributed water storage tanks and solar lamps to the needy people of Chumoukedima Village.
78 Bn CRPF: With the aim to encourage games and sports amongst the local youth, 78 battalion Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) Zubza handed over sports items to the youth of Kiruphema Village on March 17.
Jalukie Bn AR: With an aim to emphasize the significance of education in the development of individuals and society, Jalukie battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters of Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North) conducted a lecture on importance of education on March 16 at Tening and Benreu Village, Peren district.During the lecture, the speakers highlighted the importance of education in acquiring knowledge, skills, and values that are essential for personal and societal growth. They also emphasised the role of education in enhancing employability and promoting economic development.
