Seminar on PMFME Scheme held in Wokha

One day workshop-cum-seminar on Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprise (PMFME) was held on November 18 at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, organised by District Industries Centre (DIC) Wokha.
According to DIPR report, PMFME scheme was highlighted by general manger, DIC K. Myingthungo Kikon.
Economic Investigator Sub-DIC Bhandari, M. Mhabemo Kithan dwelled on the topic “System and Process of PMFME scheme” where he appraised the gathering about the process of applying the scheme.
Deputy manager SBI, Wokha Branch, Unakanta Lukram shared on the topic “Banking Modalities of PMFME scheme” and stressed on the importance of maintaining a good credit score with the banks if any interested individual intend to avail any financial assistance from government schemes.
Assistant inspector, DFO office Wokha, Rimachang Aier delivered on the topic “Fish as ODOP & PMFME” where he gave a detail technical knowledge on preparation of fishery pond, fertilising, feeding and pond management, design of fish farm and its significance.
Economic Investigator, DIC Wokha Visakhole Nakhi, gave the closing remark at the discussion hour held with the participants and the function was chaired by LDA-cum-computer assistant Lucy Yanthan.
