Union minister for finance and corporate affairs Nirmala Sitharaman arrived Nagaland on a three-day visit during which she will attend various events including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Investment Conclave.
On arrival at Dimapur, the minister was received by deputy chief minister Y. Patton, ministers—Metsubo Jamir, Kashiho Sangtam, advisors—Zhaleo Rio and Tovihoto Ayemi and Rajya Sabha MP, Phangnon Konyak.
In Kohima, Sitharaman was received by chief minister Neiphiu Rio and host of cabinet colleagues and officials at the Assam Rifles helipad, Monday afternoon.
Besides the conclave, Sitharaman is also scheduled to visit Mon and Dimapur.
