SJU, CII sign MoU to promote entrepreneurial activities

The department of Economics, St. Joseph University and Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on December 2 at St. Joseph University, Ikishe, Chumoukedima.
A press release issued by PRO St. Joseph University, Fr Anish informed that the main objective of the MoU was to promote entrepreneurial activities which include multi skill training programmes and mentoring services of the students of the university. The vice chancellor Dr. D. Gnanadurai and Albert, official of CII and Young Yuva Chair, Nagaland, and Founder of Clefnote Music Academy jointly signed with the memorandum.
Albert Young India Yuva Chair gave a brief introduction about CII. Vice chancellor, Dr. D Gnanandurai gave a speech and encouraged more collaboration which will unleash the potential of the students.
The management of St. Joseph University, registrar, Dr. Sethupatty K, dean of administration, Dr. I. Arockia Mary, dean of academic, Dr. Kinitoli H Yeptho, dean of students’ affairs. prof. Charles Mhonthong Ezung, faculties of the department of Economics and other officials of the university attended the signing of MoU.
The programme was chaired by assistant professor, Khriezovonuo, invocation by assistant professor, Dr. Aomatsung, welcome address by Head of the Department of Economics, Dr. Debojit Konwar, a short visual about the university was presented by PRO St. Joseph University, Fr. Anish while vote of thanks was proposed by assistant professor Temjen.
