State archers fetch 7 medals in Khelo India NE archery tourney

Archers taking part in the 1st Khelo India North East Archery Tournament on May 1.

Nagaland archery team secured seven medals (three gold, two silver and two bronze) at the 1st Khelo India North East Archery Tournament held at Sports Authority of India (SAI) North Eastern Regional Centre (NERC) Takyelpat in Imphal on May 1.
In senior women recurve individual division, Kevikieno Rikha secured gold medal, Neikesa Sakhrie took gold medal in girl’s compound division and Thinuohelie Metha bagged gold medal in boys compound division.
Kelem Meren got silver medal in men’s senior recurve individual and Vesevolu Swuro secured silver for girls recurve individual.
While Rovine Domeh got bronze medal in senior recurve individual and Ruovinuo Theünuo won bronze medal in girls recurve individual.
