State JD(U) members call on Nitish Kumar

Nagaland unit Janata Dal (United) members led by general secretary, Kitoho S Rotokha and others called on Bihar chief minister and JD(U) leader, Nitish Kumar “face of the opposition” and JD(U) national president and Lok Sabha MP, Rajiv Ranjan (Lalanji).
During the meeting, Rotokha said the delegation deliberated at length on the strategy and the preparation of the party for the ensuing 2023 State Assembly election in the event it takes place as scheduled. They also assured to fight against all odds to fulfil Election Commission of India criterion to get the party registered as a national party and to work towards fulfilling the aspiration of regional parties to topple the BJP-led NDA government, it said.
The delegation also apprised Nitish about the Indo-Naga peace process vis-à-vis impending solution, during which Nitish reiterated the party’s support in whatever way possible.
Further, they also congratulated Nitish for becoming the chief minister for the eight time and the formation of the grand alliance– Mahaghatbandhan.
Besides, Rotokha who is the intending candidate from 5 Ghaspani II A/C, other members include—Imsumongba Pongen general secretary, Hatpha Wangnao SEM and intending candidate 41 Tizit A/C and Abenthung, president, Wokha Unit.
