Nagaland on Sunday recorded 34 fresh Covid-19 positive cases while two more patients succumbed to the infection.
Of the fresh cases, 23 were from Dimapur, 10 in Kohima and one in Phek, taking the total Covid-19 caseload to 34856.
Further, two more patients succumbed to the virus in Dimapur, pushing the death toll to 743 (including 4 non-Covid deaths but with positivity).
As on February 6, a total of 14,19,164 personsn had been inoculated against Covid-19 (803300 first dose and 615864 second dose) while 15241 received their booster dose.
A total of 49889 teenagers also received their first dose of Covaxin.
Meanwhile, India on Sunday reported 1,07,474 new Covid cases in a span of 24 hours, taking the nationwide caseload to 42,188,138, the Health ministry said.
Further, a total of 865 new deaths were also reported taking the toll to 5,01,979.
