Kohima Law College (KLC) launched the first “Pro Bono Club” in Nagaland under Ministry of Justice & Law, Government of India at the Conference Hall of KLC, Friday.
In a press release, KLC media cell informed that workshop on “legal literacy vis-a-vis social justice” was conducted together with official launching of the Pro Bono Club.
During the programme, resource persons, assistant professor Kezhokhoto Savi deliberated on “Right to Information Act, 2005” while state coordinator HRLN, Neiteo Koza spoke on “Public Interest Litigation (PIL) and Human Rights”.
The programme was moderated by faculty co-ordinator (Pro Bono Club), David Shiu, and principal KLC, Soni officially launched the Pro Bono Club. Around 150 law students participated in the programme.
Launched on December 3, 1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
