Super Cup: Barak FC beat A-Yhome 5-1

Barak FC maintained their winning run in the Kohima Super Cup by thrashing A-Yhome FC 5-1 on Monday.
The first goal for team Barak came from the boots of Elminhao in the 7th minute.
Samson Konyak doubled the lead after 21 minute.
After the break, star player, Bodo Jr, scored the third goal just seconds before he was replaced while his teammates Aloumei and Hminglu sealed off the game with their goals in the 84th and 90th minutes of the game. Playing for A-Yhome, Vilhoubeituo scored the face saver goal.
In another encounter, Aphuyemi FC beat Magdaline Coaching FC 3-1.
The intense game came to a goalless draw till the first half even as both teams came close to scoring but could not materialize.
Later in the second half, Magdaline Coaching FC took the lead in the 50th minute through its player Dupisa Pucho, however, Aphuyemi retaliated with a spot kick through its captain, Lironthung Lotha in the 72nd minute when one of its players faulted in the penalty area.
The misery of Magdaline was increased when Vikhosa Dul, while trying to clear the ball deflected into their own net.
Then K Thopi rose on the occasion to seal the match in favour Aphuyemi in the 88th minute.
The two winners, Barak FC and Aphuyemi FC, still has two more matches in their group to qualify. Earlier, the match patron was Zhoveto Puro, PRO to Dr. Nicky Kire.
