Three startups from Nagaland get Rs. 30 lakh financial assistance

Under the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS) by the centre to offer financial assistance to startups in their journey from proof of concept and prototype development to product trials, market entry, and commercialization. 3 startups from Nagaland – Bauaok Private Limited (Hingko Hills), Zeliang Codetech and Metaa Jobs have received Rs. 10 lakhs each at the Educentre School of Business (ESB), Duncan, Dimapur.
A press release by Atsung Sangtam from Educentre informed that Bauaok Private Limited (Hingko Hills), is a dairy product company using logistics and technology to produce and deliver milk. Zeliang Codetech, is a software building company and Metaa Jobs (Eduventures), is a digital platform to connect employers and employees received the seed fund.
Educentre School of Business is the first recognised incubator in Northeast to have qualified under the India Seed Fund Scheme to give these funds. ESB is an incubator under the department of industries and commerce and recognised by startup India as one the top performing incubators in the country.
Lezo Putsure from Educentre mentioned that the support was given by the State government to build the startup eco system which has been instrumental in the growth of startups in Nagaland and Nagaland making its way to the national startup map. He said the support was from Department of Industries and Commerce, especially the youth focused advisor Hekani Jakhalu along with Commissioner and Secretary, Kekhrievor Kevichusa, Director, A. Temjen Jamir and Joint Director Lipongse Thongtsar.
The cheques were presented to three startups by deputy director of the Department of Industries and Commerce and team leader of Startup Nagaland, Keneirenuo K Theunuo. It may be mentioned that Nagaland currently has 5 incubators (YouthNet, NTTC, NIELET, Nagabots, ESB) under the department.
