Tokheho chairs Mon DISHA meeting

MP Lok Sabha, Tokheho Yepthomi chaired the Mon District Development Co-ordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting on April 25 at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall, Mon.
According to DIPR report, the MP expressed gratitude to all the HoDs, members and briefed about the purpose of DISHA and urged them to use the government fund and scheme wisely for the development of the people.
He cited examples of development in neighbouring state, and said district’s development works in the state was not satisfactory. He therefore called upon them to fulfil their responsibility by performing their duties with utmost sincerity.
Delivering the welcome address, Deputy Commissioner Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma expressed gratitude to MP Lok Sabha for attending the meeting in Mon and thanked all the departments for attending the meeting and also for their Power Points Presentation on their DISHA activities.
