Independent MLA from 24 Angetyongpang assembly constituency, Tongpang Ozukum, has tendered his resignation. According to the assembly secretariat, the NLA speaker has accepted the resignation tendered by Tongpang from the membership of 13th Nagaland Assembly with effect from the forenoon of January 27, 2023 and declared the seat as vacant.
