UC observes ‘Fight Against Sexual Exploitation’

Women development cell, Unity College (UC) Dimapur observed “World Day of Fight against Sexual Exploitation” on March 4 by visiting Prodigal Home (Swadhar Greh and Child Care Institute) Fellowship Colony Dimapur.
During the visit, Phengna Konyak, coordinator of the centre, highlighted the staff and students about the Prodigal Home and how they carry out their social work and projects and other outreach programs. The visiting team interacted with the children and conducted activities for children. Four groups consisting of four students each were engaged for case study, where they were allowed to interact with the inmates keeping their identity confidential.
