Unity College, Dimapur held its second annual youth fest ‘Unifest 2.0’ in the college premises from February 22 and 23 under the theme “Invigorating Young Minds.”
In a press release, the college informed that the events of the first day comprised of art competition, cosplay, dance competition, essay writing, extempore speech, fitness challenge, food-eating challenge, photography exhibition and slam poetry.
Yemjong Chang ‘The Illusionist’ entertained the audience with some eye-deceiving tricks and illusions. Day one concluded with an enthralling performance by the renowned pop rock band The Gluttones.
The second day of the fest witnessed a variety of competitions in the genres of indigenous food cooking, indigenous games, Voice of Unity V.8.0 and Unifest Mega Model. This was followed by the distribution of prizes and certificates to the winners, after which the crowd was treated to an electrifying performance by rapper and songwriter, Moko Koza. The two-day fest concluded with a thrilling experience for the students grooving and dancing to the tune of DJ Rhon. Unifest2.0 was an exposure for the youth to exhibit their talents and aspirations.
