A talk on “values and beliefs reflected in folk narratives” was organised by the department of History, Unity College (UC) Dimapur in collaboration with the North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC) Nagaland on April 13 at UC Seminar Hall.
A press release by the college stated that the talk was delivered by retired principal, Moran College, Assam, Dr. T. Anil Saikia; former member, advisory board of folk and tribal music, Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi and member-NEZCC.
The talk began with welcome address by assistant professor (department of history) Dr.VivolhunoPunyu, the session was chaired by Pongkam Konyak, PG Student, 4th semester and vote of thanks was delivered by assistant professor (department of history-archaeology) Dr. Biswajit Debbarma.
