Ura Academy Tenyidie Seminar enters Day 2

The 53rd Ura Academy seminar entered the second day with an orientation programme of Tenyidie teachers at Ura Academy Hall, Mission Compound, Kohima.
In a brief speech, president Ura Academy, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, termed the teaching fraternity as the language ‘missionary’ who will be the carriers of the knowledge of Tenyidie to the students and masses in general.
During the programme, the keynote address was delivered by Kikruneinuo Liezietsu, Jt. Secretary Ura Academy and she stated that as language develops with time, teachers are in dire need to be updated and refreshed as such an orientation program such as this for the teacher will empower language teacher to transact knowledge and play vital role.
The resource persons of the day, associate professor, Dept. of Education, Nagaland University Kohima Campus, Meriema, Dr. Khotole Khieya, spoke on the topic NEP 2020, and assistant professor, Pfütsero Govt. College, Phek, Dr. Metseilhouthie Mor, presented a technical paper on grammar and composition, word division and literature while Vizonyü Liezietsu spoke on language usage.
An intensive discussion was followed regarding Nagaland Heritage Studies and Tenyidie development and perpetuation.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by president Ura Academy Rüpfhünuo, Dr. Medongulie Tseikha, assistant professor, Kohima Science College, Vimedo Keyho read the scripture and said the invocation prayer, folk tune was presented by Küzüve Kroko and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Keneichanuo Mepfhüo.
On the last day of the seminar, the Tenyidie Kephrünuoko Krotho will be organising competitions on debate, story writing, poetry writing, essay writing for the high and higher secondary schools.
Project director, TaFMA, Dr. Hovithal Sothu, will exhort the gatherings in the third session.
While in the culminating programme, award ceremony will be held to honour the meritorious students in the field of Tenyidie and Music in the HSLC, HSSLC and undergraduate course.
