Various programmes held for students

Educational institutions have been organising various programmes and activities as part of its academic and extracurricular activities.
SJU: One-day workshop on business start-up was organised by the department of economics, St. Joseph University in collaboration with Institutional Innovation Council (IIC) on March 27 at the Auditorium, SJU with director Jaong Co, Dimapur, Limanungsang Jamir as the resource person.
The two sessions of the workshop stressed on the importance and role of start-up: life skills, stages of business start-up, ways to start and built business and financial management for starters. More than 200 students from economics, management and education department attended the workshop.
The workshop was chaired by Nika Konyak (MA 2nd semester), invocation by Christian Leo Charley M (MA 2nd semester), welcome address by Dr. R Amaravel, (Coordinator, IIC and head department of physics), and vote of thanks by assistant professor of the department of economics, Dr. Aomatsung.
NIIT Dimapur: Team Royal Tigers of NIIT Dimapur Centre celebrated its 24th Foundation Day of its company Lord’s Infotech Management Pvt. Ltd on March 27 at Marwari Patti Centre.
