Vehicular movement banned on Tsumok bridge

Following the damage of a portion of RCC deck slab of Tsumok River bridge at 8.4 km from Tsunsangra to Impur, the additional deputy commissioner (ADC) Tuli has ordered the prohibition of all forms of vehicular movement on the bridge with effect from May 24 to June 6, 2023. According to a DIPR report, the prohibition order was issued to avoid untoward incidents and also as a safety measure and to facilitate the immediate repair and renovation of the same.
Tuli administration along with police department, PWD feeder road division Tuli and Asangma Village Council jointly have verified the damage.
