Watsu Mungdang, MDFA sign MoU on Women’s Football

To develop the game of women’s football in the state, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoU) was signed between the Watsu Mungdang and Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA) on April 29.
As part of the agreement, MDFA will extend support to Watsu Mungdang in organising the Women’s Football Tournament by assisting all technical support free of cost for the next three years till 2025.
“In commemoration of 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and to promote the girl child welfare which incorporate under the campaign “Beti Bacaho and Beti Padhao” and to uplift the game of women’s football in the state, the MDFA hereby agrees upon to support the Watsu Mungdang in organising the women football tournament by assisting all technical support free of cost for the next three years till 2025”, the release stated.
