WAYF appeals to voters

Another constitutional exercise is knocking at our door and every eligible citizens will have an opportunity to elect our representative to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly for the next five years.
Voting is not only our constitutional right but it is also one of the highest duty for a citizen in avny democratic society and we urge every eligible voters to perform this duty.
As Nagaland gears up for this democratic exercise, the Western Ao Youth Federation (WAYF) would like to appeal to all like minded citizens to exercise their franchise in electing the right representative who will be the voice of the people. Every eligible voters should perform their bounden duty to prevent proxy voting and ensure clean election. Any members of the community facing any act of coercion or intimidation should report to the Helpline, 8974851911.
We appeal to all citizens to ensure free and fair election and that no law and order situation is created. Based on the principles of Clean Election Movement as envisioned by our apex Church body NBCC, we remind every voters to vote by their freewill and their conscience.
