WDCCI information on ILP

Wokha District Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WDCCI) has informed all non-indigenous people engaged in business activities and all those skilled, unskilled labours including workers within Wokha district to obtain a valid Inner Line Permit (ILP) from the concerned authority.
WDCCI president, Renpithung Kikon and general secretary, S. Aben Ngullie informed that it will not encourage those non-indigenous business individual or group to carry out business activities without proper valid ILP in the district.
WDCCI also informed that it may carry out a random checking of ILP documents, as and when required and if any individual apprehended without proper documents will be forwarded to the administration and it expect the authority to do the needful within 24 hours.
Therefore, WDCCI appealed to all denizens to extend cooperation at the time of carrying out such activities within the district and landlords have been urged to verify and obtain required documents from the non-indigenous inhabitants before renting out their properties.
