One day workshop on Pradhan Mantri Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) scheme under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) was organised by the sub-district industries center, Tseminyu under the directorate of industries and commerce on October 28 in the conference hall of Rengma Hoho office, Tseminyu Town.
According to a DIPR report, during the workshop, agriculture officer Tseminyu, Elia Kesen said the two pillars of the country’s economy are agriculture and industries. He highlighted the gathering on the available raw food produced in the Tseminyu district that could be processed.
In the second session, a PowerPoint presentation on the guidelines and procedure of Pradhan Mantri Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises schemes was presented by inspector sub-DIC Tseminyu, Benny Khing.
The workshop was attended by food producer organization, self-help groups, cooperatives, and individuals keen to take up food processing enterprises.
