XI Brothers Chukitong lift 12th LFC

XI Brothers Chukitong defeated A1 Tsungiki 2-0 and lifted the 12th edition of Lotha Football Championship (LFC) after the final match played at Wokha local ground on Tuesday.
Both teams displayed brilliance in all areas, however XI Brothers managed to edge past the defending champions by two goals. The match seemed and swayed in favour of both teams but A1 Tsungiki could not capitalise on their opportunities.
Meanwhile, XI Brothers materialised on their few opportunities and scored two goals to lift the coveted trophy.
PS to dy CM, Hachi Patton, who graced the closing ceremony, encouraged the players to maintain sporting spirit. Stating that football was one of popular sports, he said with determination Nagas could excel in the sport.
Patton thanked the Wokha District Football Association (WDFA) for their efforts in nurturing new talent and giving them exposure.
The match was witnessed by hundreds of football enthusiasts.
