Yimkhiung Akherü Arihako (YAA) held its executive meeting on March 30 at Kohima and adopted three-point resolutions to be strictly enforced for the welfare of the Yimkhiung community.
In a press release, YAA president, Keyoungkhum K informed that the house in reference to YAA resolution No. 19 (Act 2021) resolved to totally prohibit the engagement of proxy teachers in government schools under its jurisdiction. The union said “befitting action” will be initiated against defaulting teachers.
YAA has also directed all government employees posted under its jurisdiction to report to their place of posting and perform their duties efficiently. The union warned that it would take “necessary action” against those employees found defying the office directive.
As contained in YAA resolution No. 7 (Act 2006 & 2007), the union said illicit exploitation of flora and fauna within its jurisdiction was strictly prohibited. The union warned that whosoever contravenes the resolution shall be liable to face stringent action.
Further, YAA has directed all federating units to keep a check on the same and report any anomalies found to the YAA office.
