Zeliang Students’ Union Nagaland serves ultimatum on absentee Govt school HMs

Zeliang Students’ Union Nagaland (ZLSU) has warned of strict action against government school headmasters in Peren district remaining absent.
Appreciating the government schools in Peren district for performing exceptionally well and being listed among the top three government schools with 52% pass percentage, ZLSU, however alleged that headmasters (HMs) of certain schools were irregular and rarely remained in station. It was no surprise that the schools with such irresponsible HMs were among the worst performing schools in the district, the union added.
Asserting that it would not tolerate such imprudent behaviour from any such negligent heads of schools, ZLSU served an ultimatum on them and teachers ignoring their duties to remain in station within seven days. It warned that failure to comply with the directive would lead to strict action against defaulters through the Directorate of School Education.
ZLSU lauded the dedicated teachers for their tireless efforts in performing their duties.
