As part of the “Swarnim Vijay Varsh” celebration Spear Corps of Indian army organised military equipment and pipe band display for NCC cadets from various schools, colleges and for the youth and families at Rangapahar Military Station, here on Saturday.
The event included activities such as weapon and equipment display, performance by army pipe band and interactive session with the visitors.
During the programme, the capabilities of Indian Army were also displayed to the cadets.
Meanwhile, cadet of 24 Naga Line, Tetseo College, Yekovi Swu expressed delight to have been a part of the weapon display and also expressed his desire to join the army.
Earlier, the display was organised by Spear Corps and attended by around 200 NCC cadets.
