Indian Army holds outreach programme for NCC cadets

DIMAPUR

Army Recruitment Office (ARO), Rangapahar organised a special outreach session for NCC cadets at the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC)-59 held at Patkai Christian College, Chumukedima on July 5.
According to PRO and spokesperson, ministry of defencem Manipur, Nagaland and Souther Arunachal Pradesh, 346 cadets from 1 Nagaland Air Squadron NCC, Dimapur participated in the programme aimed at guiding youth on opportunities in the Indian Army. Key highlights included details on the Agnipath Scheme, login and registration process, and recruitment notifications for 2025-26.
Army officials also explained officer entry options like NDA, IMA, OTA, MNS and TA, as well as the SSB interview procedure. The cadets were briefed on eligibility, application, and selection process, along with an overview of Army organisation and its various arms and services. Informational handouts and pamphlets were distributed.
Director Recruiting also interacted with Wing Commander M Herojit Singh, Commanding Officer of 1 Nagaland Air Sqn NCC, Dimapur, and discussed updates on officer ntries and recruitment changes.
