Indian army organise outreach programme

To enhance recruitment of Agniveer aspirants, the Army Recruitment Officer, Rangapahar organised outreach programs in coordination with Patkai Christian College and ICFAI University at Choumukedima on January 30 and 31, 2025. The outreach programme was attended by over 205 eligible students including 135 Boys and 70 Girls.


The sessions covered on importance of Agnipath scheme of recruitment, it’s advantages, opportunities and clarifications of queries. Modalities of Officer entry schemes to include National Defence Academy (NDA), Officers Training Academy (OTA), Military Nursing Services (MNS) and Territorial Army (TA) Service Selection Board (SSB) interview were elaborated.


The aspirants were also briefed about the eligibility criteria, application procedures, and selection processes for each scheme. They were also explained about the organisation of Army and types of Arms and Services.


Handouts, posters, pamphlets and other publicity materials were also distributed. This was stated in a press release by PRO & Spokesperson, Ministry of Defence, Manipur, Nagaland and Southern Arunachal Pradesh.
