Indian Navy motivates NU students on career prospects

School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Nagaland University, Kohima Campus Meriema, organized a motivational talk by Lt. Cdr Bezai Moses of the Indian Navy on October 17 at the Seminar Hall, Department of English.
According to a press release issued by NU PRO, Lt. Cdr Moses spoke on career opportunities for B.Tech and engineering students in the Indian Navy.
He highlighted that students from any engineering discipline are eligible to join various branches of the Navy and encouraged them to stay updated in their respective fields and continuously acquire new skills to remain competitive.
The session included an interactive Q&A segment where the officer addressed student queries and offered career counseling.
Prof. Sujata Dash, Dean of NU-SET, delivered a brief address, urging students to prepare for diverse job avenues and acknowledged the growing presence of women in the Indian Navy. The programme was chaired by Shanchamo Yanthan, in-charge of Training and Placement.
