Indigenous shot put held at Pochury Morung, Kisama

The indigenous game of shot-put competition was held at Pochury Morung on the second day of the 23rd Hornbill Festival at Kisama, Naga Heritage Village on December 2.
According to DIPR report, altogether, 11 individuals from different tribes participated in the competition.
The first position was bagged by Asukha K. Zhimomi representing the Sumi tribe and received a cash prize of Rs. 6000/- and the second and third positions were won by Likho Garo and Shetha Chakhesang and received Rs. 4000/- and Rs. 2000/- respectively.
