Inaugural function of DOPT sponsored induction training programme for newly recruited group –‘B’ & ‘C’ state government employees of Mon district was held at district executive hall, DC office, Mon on February, on the theme “Excellence through Learning”.
Speaking at the programme, deputy director (Training) & Nodal Officer for ITP, Er. N.Moa Longkumer informed that the training was a 12-day module, during which the trainees would be taught on soft skills like emotional intelligence, managements, communications and field trip, during which the trainees would be taken to villages so as to get first hand experience about the life of the villagers, as they would be serving the villagers ultimately, and office procedures.
Speaking as the guest of honor, DC of Mon, W.Honje Konyak, stated that trainees were the lucky few to be recruited in the government job to carry forward the policy and program of the government in the district.
He urged the trainees to be sincere, attentive, open and frank during the course of the training, as they would be taught on every aspects unlike the past years.
The program was organized by Administrative Training Institute Nagaland, Kohima, in collaboration with the district administration Mon.
It may be mentioned that such training program for newly recruited government employees of Mon district was conducted for the first time in the district.
WOKHA: The inaugural function of DOPT for Wokha district began on February 28 at DC’s conference hall, Wokha.
According to DIPR report, training programme was organised by Administrative Training Institute, Nagaland, Kohima in collaboration of Wokha district administration. Addressing the trainees, guest of honour, SDO (C) Asalie Lese urged the participants to be attentive and try to gain maximum benefit out of the training for speedy deliverance of service to the public.
Dr. Alum, ATI, Kohima gave a brief introduction to the programme. Resource persons and master trainers for the training included Thungdemo, Asalie, Libemo, Johny, Imliakum, Zhavituoii and Thungchanbemo.
Topics to be deliberated include personal effectiveness, organisational values, e-governance & ICT, managing conflicts, time management, leadership & team building, citizen centric behavior, machinery of government, file management, noting and drafting skills, record management, fundamental rules and pension rules. The inaugural function was chaired by EAC, Wokha Imliakum.
