Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi has informed all Heads Departments/NGOs/Awardees to collect Car pass, invitation cards for Republic Day celebration on January 24-25 onwards from the office of the deputy commissioner, Kohima.
MOKOKCHUNG: Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Lt Col Joy Choudhury (Retd) has stated that as before the defence ex-servicemen and assam rifles ex-servicemen would take part in the Republic Day parade on January 26.
All ex-servicemen from Mokokchung town and from Chungtia, Khensa, Longkhum, Mangmetong, Ungma, Chuchuyimlang, and Mokokchung villages have been requested to take part in the parade and be at the parade ground on time.
KIPHIRE: Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, A.Chumremo Odyuo has directed all the HODs in Kiphire district to reach their respective posting place before January 22 without fail.
In a press release, DC stated that many HODs of Kiphire district were yet to report to their posting place after Christmas holidays.
DC also stated that in view of upcoming Republic Day celebration and visit of VVIPs in the district, the presence and assistance of all officers are “invariably required”. It therefore, has asked all the heads of offices of all departments to compulsory attend Republic Day celebration on 26 January 2016 at Kiphire headquarter along with their staffs.
Further DC warned that the district administration would be conducting inspection after the due date and disciplinary action would be initiated against those failing to comply with the directives.
