Information on solidarity walk

Global Naga Forum and co-organisers of the “Naga Solidarity Walk” have informed that the walk will be flagged off at Lerie, Kohima at 6 a.m. on July 28 and converge at Senapati, Manipur on July 29.
The organisers have requested all participants to carry their own sleeping bags and toiletries etc. for which mini-trucks will be provided to carry the items.
Foods, refreshments and lodgings has been arranged including medical teams, it added.
For return journey to Kohima, buses have been arranged.
The organizers have reminded that the event is a peaceful walk and therefore requested all walkers not to indulge in any form of violence.
The organizers once again appealed to all Nagas to rise up to the occasion cutting across the borders to join the walk to assert that we are “One people” with “One destiny”.
