International University Nagaland holds free health camp at Chumou

DIMAPUR

International University, Nagaland (formerly The Global Open University Nagaland), through its AYUSH Hospital at Sodzulhou and Kozabe, organised a free health camp on February 3 at Sodzulhou Village Council Hall, Chümoukedima, as part of its community health outreach programme.
In a press release, Registrar Dr. Roopam Bachhil informed that the camp was conducted by the departments of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Physiotherapy, and Medical Lab Technology. Free consultations, basic medical screenings, physiotherapy guidance, and laboratory services were provided to villagers. A large number of people from Sodzulhou, Kozabe, and neighbouring villages attended and benefited from the initiative.
Kodo, VDB, Sodzulhou, appreciated the University for organising the camp and encouraged similar initiatives in the future. Vice Chancellor Dr. Dipak Kumar Shukla, in his address, welcomed the gathering and highlighted academic programmes offered by the University, particularly in allied health sciences and AYUSH. He reiterated the institution’s commitment to community service and preventive healthcare.
The University further informed that communities or villages interested in organising similar free health camps may contact International University, Nagaland.
