IPR bids farewell to two officers

Department of Information & Public Relations (IPR) has held a farewell function for two of its outgoing staff after serving the department for 35 years on February 13 in the IPR Citadel conference hall.
The retirees, Viletono (UDA) and Alise Sangtam (News Assistant) have thanked the department officers and staff for guiding and helping them throughout their career. They also encouraged the department to continue disseminating news and information to the rural areas of the state.
IPR Additional Director, Pausui Zeliang, while congratulating them, said it was God’s blessing that the two retirees are leaving the department in good health. Appreciating their service to the department, he encouraged them to continue serving the society in their own capacity. He also said that their contributions to the department would be remembered.
A special song was presented by administration section of the department. The programme was chaired by Deputy Director, Tokishe Sema. Short speeches on behalf of the sections were delivered by Assistant Director, Ruopfulenuo Mepfhuo, and the Registrar, Chongloi.
