IPR officials call on Daochier Imchen

DIMAPUR: Officials of the Department of Information & Public Relations (IPR) called on advisor, IPR and Soil & Water Conservation, Daochier I. Imchen, at his official residence in Kohima on June 8.
At the outset, Commissioner & Secretary, IPR, Orenthung Lotha, and director, IPR, Dzüvinuo Theünuo, congratulated Imchen on his victory in the Nagaland by election from Koridang Assembly Constituency, Mokokchung district. The AHoD and HoD apprised him of ongoing projects and activities of the department and assured full support and cooperation to his leadership as Advisor.
In his remarks, Imchen thanked the officials and said the meeting felt like a “homecoming,” recalling that his late father had held the same departments until his demise. He expressed gratitude to the officials for standing by him during this extraordinary situation and appealed for their continued support and guidance. He further urged the department to expedite projects and activities initiated during his father’s tenure to keep his legacy and memories alive.
