IQAC organises faculty and staff development programme

IQAC, C-Edge College organised faculty & staff development programme, sponsored by Kiremwati Chair on February 26, at C-Edge College. 

The main speaker of the first session, Kingdom Discipleship Ministry, New Delhi, Rev. Bendang Longkumer encouraged the mission to emulate and reflect Christ in the workspace. Concluding remark was delivered by HoD political science, Viseno Kuotsu.
Meanwhile, the second session which was divided into two groups saw teaching faculty and staff members dwell on the theme “education in transition: rethinking offline and blended mode of teaching and learning” and “office management and work ethics”.
Some of the objectives of FSDP included open & interactive discussion on issues and opportunities related to post-COVID-19 on teaching and learning and to integrate approaches for blended mode of education. 
The different departments gave PowerPoint presentations on the theme wherein, advantages and disadvantages of online teaching and learning were examined through the presentations based on blended teaching-learning as the way forward in a post Covid narrative. Several resolutions were also made after the discussion session to augment blended mode of teaching and learning. 
The staff members also conducted a technical session with the Morung Express, director of news and administration, Akangjungla as resource person. 
She stressed on work as a purposeful activity as it allowed one to be self-reliant, entitled a person to an honest earning and most significantly attributes to happiness in life.
She also mentioned that besides perusing for professionalism, some of the guiding principles should be integrity, respect, not shying away from taking responsibility for their action, dedication, etc. and what was most crucial was to remain human first and to be kind and take care of each other.
