IRCS Nagaland organizes First Aid trg

DIMAPUR

The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Nagaland State Branch, organized a First Aid Training on July 31, at the 400/220kV New Kohima GIS Substation, Zhadima Village, Kohima, Nagaland. with the objective of equipping substation staff with essential life-saving skills relevant to their work environment. A total of 31 participants underwent intensive training under the expertise of Kholie Dolf, a certified master trainer.
According to a press release, the session covered the following critical areas: First Aid for Electrocution and Electrical Burn Injuries, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED), First Aid for Snake Bites, Choking Relief Techniques, Wound Management.
This initiative forms a part of the Society’s ongoing commitment to promote workplace safety and emergency preparedness, particularly in high-risk sectors such as power and energy.
