IRCSN conducts various activities

Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland (IRCSN) state branch conducted comprehensive first aid training sessions on August 16 and 17, at Mt. Olive College, Kohima and Kohima-Mariani Transmission Limited, Zhadima, Kohima respectively.


A press release by IRCSN general secretary Akhale V. Khamo stated that on August 16, at Mt. Olive College, Kohima, IRCSN hosted a successful first aid training session where a diverse group of students were equipped with life-saving skills.


The training aimed to empower students with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations. Participants learned critical techniques to provide immediate assistance and support until professional medical help arrives.


In another training session at Kohima-Mariani Transmission Limited, Zhadima, a training for the employees of the company were carried out, ensuring that they were well-prepared to handle medical emergencies within the workplace. By imparting valuable first aid skills, the organization aims to create a safer environment and foster a culture of preparedness and responsibility.


It may be mentioned that the event underscore Red Cross Nagaland’s dedication to enhancing public safety and health awareness. The organization’s ongoing efforts to provide accessible and high-quality first aid training play a pivotal role in strengthening the resilience of both individuals and communities.
