The International University, Nagaland organised a panel discussion on the “Vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in Nagaland” on October 3.
In a press release by Public Relations Office, International University Nagaland stated that the panel consisted of distinguished academicians, senior faculty members and education administrators from leading universities and colleges in Nagaland. They shared their perspectives on curriculum restructuring, vocational education, teacher training, integration of technology, and the promotion of regional languages in line with the objectives of NEP 2020.
The discussion also highlighted the practical challenges of implementing NEP 2020 in Nagaland, such as infrastructure readiness, teacher capacity building, and balancing traditional knowledge with global best practices.
The session was moderated by Director (Vocational) Prof. Zavise Rume, welcome address by University, Registrar, Dr. Roopam Bachhil, keynote address by University, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Dipak Kumar Shukla.
